The emotional roller coaster of ceramics entices me. In short, drawings are put to paper, clay is mushed between my fingertips, drying time, refining, and bisque firing is completed, glaze is painstakingly applied, and then the second firing is when the idea truly lives. For me, the richness of clay is that it is little parts of me over a period of time, pieces of days, hours, and life. I am focused on the concept, the idea and the story, striving to create pieces that make my audience think, question, feel and laugh. I open my humble heart to you as these works are incumbent of my childhood, my dreams, my unconscious, and all the rest of my beautiful universe.
